PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and efficiently operate a power distribution system by surely and quickly estimating a load of the system, even if a distributed power supply is linked to the system.;SOLUTION: This load amount estimation method is characterized by measuring the current imbalance rate of a current flowing into the load 130 from the system power supply 110 and a load amount; deriving a primary approximation function as a load curve which shows a relationship between the current imbalance rate and the load amount; measuring the current imbalance rate of the current flowing into the load from the system power supply after the derivation of the load curve; and deriving the load amount from the current imbalance rated which is measured by using the load curve.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
