PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VR type resolver suitable for reducing a harmonic component included in a detection signal by a relatively simple wiring structure.;SOLUTION: The tooth width W1 of each of pole-piece teeth 11 and the tooth width W2 of each of teeth 21 are constituted in such a way as to have the same width (W1=W2). In the pole-piece teeth 11, their tooth width W1 and the distance L1 between teeth are constituted in such a way as to have a width and a length having the relation of W1:L1=1:2, and their depth H1 is constituted in such a way as to have a depth so that the tooth width W1 and the depth H1 may have the relation of W1:H1=1:2. In the teeth 21, their tooth width W2 and the distance L2 between teeth are constituted in such a way as to have a width and a length having the relation of W2:H2=1:2, and their depth H2 is constituted in such a way as to have a depth so that the tooth width W1 and the depth H2 may have the relation of W1:H2=1:2. Curves having a size R1 are provided for both circumferential end parts of a tip part of each of the pole piece teeth 11, and curves having a size R2 are provided for both circumferential end parts of a tip part of each of the teeth 21.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
