PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unbalance of peripheral luminous energy drop from becoming conspicuous even when an environmental temperature varies, and to prevent occurrence of end contact of a shift lens, in an imaging device having a deflection correction function. PSOLUTION: This imaging device includes: a deflection detection part 101 for detecting the deflection of the imaging device; an imaging element 135 for imaging an object image passing through an imaging lens; a deflection correction part 133 arranged in the imaging lens for optically correcting the deflection; a control part 120 for controlling the deflection correction part based on the output of the deflection detection part; a correction amount restriction part 107 for restricting the correction amount by the deflection correction part; and a temperature measurement part 141 arranged in the vicinity of the imaging lens and capable of measuring the environmental temperature. When the environmental temperature measured by the temperature measurement part is above a predetermined value, the higher the environmental temperature, the more the restriction amount to the correction amount of the deflection correction part is increased by the correction amount restriction part.
