PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rice cooking apparatus with a draining device which is capable of continuously executing all steps (including an immersing process) of a rice cooking process by one type of rice cooking pot and sufficiently removing rice starch eluted during the immersion.;SOLUTION: This rice cooking apparatus includes a rice supply part 3 for supplying the rice, a water supply part 4 for supplying immersion water, an immersion part 5 immersing the rice in moisture, a draining part 22 for removing the immersion water after the immersion, a rice cooking part 7 heating a rice cooking pot, a steaming part 8 for steaming the boiled rice after the rice cooking, an inversion cooling part 10 taking out the boiled rice in the rice cooking pot after the steaming, and a pot washing part 12 for washing the rice cooking pot from which the boiled rice is taken out, the respective parts are relatedly disposed on a same conveyance line and a plurality of rice cooking pots are circulated and conveyed via the respective parts. Each rice cooking pot is reversed in the water draining part, the content in the rice cooking pot is taken out and washed rice alone out of the content is put in the rice cooking pot again.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
