PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for smoothly cutting branches, discharging cut branch dust between furrows, and also performing a proper branch-cutting work, by preventing the accumulation of the cut branch dusts on a branch-cutting machine.;SOLUTION: This device for cutting the branches is provided by connecting covers 44, 44 with a branch-cutting machine body 41 by an arm member, moving for opening in the breadth direction of a tea furrow, or elongating and contracting, and also adjusting the amounts of elongation and contraction, to make the extended amount of the covers 44, 44 adjustable. Furthermore, by the extended covers 44, 44, the skirt part of a next tea furrow is pushed open for widening the space, through which the cut branch dusts fall down between the furrow.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
