PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring a dust concentration stably measuring the dust concentration in a measurement gas for a long time.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring the dust concentration includes: a laser device 13 for irradiating a measurement gas 12 with a laser beam 11; a first light detector 31 for measuring generated Mie scattered light 30; and a second light detector 18 for measuring generated Raman scattered light 15. The apparatus measures a signal intensity (=M0) of the Mie scattered light by the first light detector 31 and a signal intensity (=R0) of the Raman scattered light 15 of a gas for concentration correction in a measurement area by the second light detector 18 in advance, measures a detection signal intensity (=M1) of the Mie scattered light by the first light detector 31 and a signal intensity (=R1) of the Raman scattered light 15 of the gas for concentration correction in the measurement area by the second light detector 18 upon correction of a dust concentration, calculates a dust concentration (M2) by multiplying the value M1 by a correction coefficient (K) defined as R0/R1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
