Novelty: A dividable tank destined for the salting and maturation of white cheese or feta cheese is disclosed. Constitution: The seating base (1α, 1&bgr;), one to twenty low-in-height sub-tanks (2,1α) and a sealing cap (3) covering the last top sub-tank. The sub-tanks (2,1α) are tightly superimposed so that they can operate as a unified great-capacity tank able to be managed by pallet forks as stackable pallets. Advantages: Relatively low-construction cost; great savings in storage room; potential liquid-phase and dry-phase salting (cheese into or out of brine) into the same sub-tank with no further transport of the cheese to another tank; due to the cheese transport phase abolition, the cheese production cost becomes significantly reduced while its quality remains unaltered.
