Novelty: A cream cheese product of significant nutritional value is disclosed Preparation mode: The invented cream cheese product (feta spread) is obtained via high-pressure homogenization or ultrasounds, via incorporation -before homogenization- of extra olive oil as well as via selective addition of aromatic components through nano-dispersion thereof into the virgin olive oil before the homogenization phase. Advantages: Originality of the final product and novel utilisation of the traditional feta cheese as margarine substituent, as a spread on bread, as dressing in salads or as basic oraccompanying foodstuff.
