METHOD FOR SURGICAL RECONSTRUCTION OF OLD RUPTURE OF PATELLAR LIGAMENT

A method for surgical reconstruction of the old rupture of patellar ligament comprises the replacement of the defect with tendinous autograft. The tendinous portions of the proper patellar ligament are taken for such a reconstruction following the preceding longitudinal dissection.
