A method for treatment of injured, damaged, diseased or aged articularcartilage using neo-cartilage constructs implanted into a joint cartilagelesion in situ.The implantation of the construct initiates and achievesincorporation of neo-cartilage into a native surrounding cartilage including aformation of a new superficial cartilage layer overgrowing and sealing thelesion in the joint cartilage. Neo-cartilage constructs and a method forpreparation thereof.
