The use of acetyl L-carnitine in combination with propionyl L-~carnitine andsildenafil is described for the preparation of a medicament and/or dieteticproduct for the treatment of erectile dysfunction secondary to all thoseconditions in which there is distress or iatrogenic damage of the lesserpelvis within which the neurovascular bundles of the penis run.
