An apparatus, and an associated method, facilitates user understanding of theaudiocomponent of media that is played back at a device having media playerfunctionality.Responsive to detection of user selection, a portion of the audio component ofthe media isconverted into textual, or other, form to provide a converted-formrepresentation of the audiocomponent portion. The representation is displayed to the user. Therepresentation is furthertranslatable into a second language, and the translated, representation isdisplayed to the user.
