Disclosed are a collapsible canopy frame for easy building and storage while collapsed to minimize the volume thereof, and a canopy using same. The collapsible canopy frame is provided with two long posts, two short posts disposed relatively low, and x-shape connecting frames folded therebetween. The volume of the collapsible canopy frame when wholly collapsed is minimized by varying the length of ends of the connecting frames connected to and between the posts having different heights. Accordingly, the same collapsing method being used for all connecting frames connected to the posts makes building and storage convenient. Also, the canopy having the collapsible canopy frame coupled to a tent is convenient to use, since slopes are formed on the tent, thereby allowing rainwater to run down only to the side of the short posts in case of rain.
