PURPOSE: A separating method of hydrogen gas from hydrocarbon-based gas is provided to obtain hydrogen of high purity by directly cracking hydrocarbon-based fuel.;CONSTITUTION: A separating method of hydrogen gas from hydrocarbon-based gas includes the following steps: a hydrogen separating membrane module is prepared by forming a hydrogen separating membrane(130) with hydrogen ion conductivity at a porous support(110); the temperature and the pressure of hydrocarbon-based gas are adjusted such that the temperature become in a range between 300 and 900 deg C and the pressure become higher than atmospheric pressure; the hydrocarbon-based gas is represented by chemical formula C_xH_y, x is real number more than or equal to 1, and y is the real number more than or equal to 2; the hydrocarbon-based gas is introduced to the hydrogen separating membrane module; the hydrocarbon-based gas is cracked into carbon and hydrogen ions and electrons through the hydrogen separating membrane; the hydrogen ions and the electros are transferred to the porous support through the hydrogen separating membrane; and the hydrogen ions and the electrons are re-combined to become hydrogen gas through the porous support.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
