PURPOSE: An electrolyte structure for a ceria-based solid oxide fuel cell is provided to easily measure oxygen partial pressure inside an electrolyte, and to stably operate the ceria-based solid oxide fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte structure(100) for a ceria-based solid oxide fuel cell comprises an electrolyte(10), and one or more probes(20) which are inserted into the electrolyte. The probe has a pair of a probe unit for measuring the electrochemical potential of an electron(21) and a probe unit for measuring the electrochemical potential of an oxygen ion(22). A manufacturing method of the electrolyte structure comprises: a step of preparing two or more electrolyte tape; a step of inserting one or more probes between the electrolyte tapes; and a step of sintering the electrolyte tapes at 1200-1400 deg. C.
