The present report reviews the description of an oxygen analytical solid electrolyte cell with a sealed gas comparative medium that can be successfully used in an oxygen analyzer in high-altitude aircraft. It is shown that the method can be used in the design of a mass-produced gas analyzer. The success of this equipment depends on the continuous monitoring of the oxygen partial pressure. The operation of the oxygen-producing unit is based on a measurement method based on the use of a measuring potentiometric solid electrolyte cell. Its main difference from other similar cells is that it uses a gas mixture with comparative partial pressure of oxygen as a comparative medium, which is in a sealed comparative chamber. The comparative medium is prepared using the same electrolyte cell, but operating in coulometric mode. The comparative environment is periodically renewed. It is shown that this method can be used in the design for the production of a gas analyzer as a serial model.
