PURPOSE: A parking auxiliary apparatus and an operation method thereof are provided to detect obstacles around a vehicle for changing the display of a view.;CONSTITUTION: A parking auxiliary apparatus includes an image acquisition unit(100), an obstacle detector unit(200), and a control unit(300). The image obtaining unit obtains images around a vehicle, and projects the images to a projecting surface for synthesizing a surrounding image of the vehicle from a virtual viewpoint. The obstacle detector unit detects obstacles without the specified range around the vehicle.
