摘要

PURPOSE: A ball-joint for a suspension system and an engagement method for the same are provided to firmly fix a ball-stud and an arm by preventing a nut from loosening and firmly joining the ball-stud to the hollow part of an arm.;CONSTITUTION: A ball-joint for a suspension system comprises a ball-stud(10). The ball-stud is formed with a spherical ball part. A ball-joint comprises a housing(12), a first flange part(14), and a second flange part(16). The housing is internally mounted with a ball-stud. The housing is coaxially inserted into the hollow(32) of an arm(30) installed in a vehicle body. The first flange part prevents the housing from separating from the hollow part through the insertion direction. The first flange part hangs on a first end which is opposed to the hollow part. The second flange part prevents the housing from separating from the hollow part through the opposite direction of the insertion direction.
