PURPOSE: A water pump for a vehicle including a mounted rotor in which a permanent magnet is inserted is provided to minimize influences of vibration by maintaining a stable magnetic connection state of the rotor and a stator by simplifying configuration of the water pump. CONSTITUTION: A water pump for a vehicle including a mounted rotor in which a permanent magnet is inserted comprises a motor case(3) and a rotor(5). The motor case is installed between a motor cover(1) of the lower part and a pump case(4) of the upper part. A space unit of which the upper surface is opened is formed in the center of the motor case, and a shaft(31) is vertically installed in the center. A ring-shaped stator(2) is installed in outer periphery of the space unit. The rotor comprises a rotor body unit(51) of a sleeve shape and an impeller body unit(52). A permanent magnet(6) is inserted into an insertion groove of a sleeve thickness unit so that the rotor body unit is welded and is finished by a covering(56). The lower part of a vane(54) is welded on the upper surface in the impeller body unit. The rotor body unit of the sleeve shape includes a bush(7) and is assembled in the shaft. The rotor body unit is located in the inside of the stator.
