PURPOSE: An SPR(Surface Plasmon Resonance) kit for determining the specific age of cow meat containing anti-p21 antibody and PBS(Phosphate Buffered Saline), and a method for determining the specific age of cow meat using the same are provided to effectively select 30-month old or younger cows by measuring the concentration of p21.;CONSTITUTION: An SPR kit for determining the specific age of cow meat contains anti-p21 antibody, a metal thin film coated with an anti-p21 antibody-conjugated linker molecule, and PBS solution. The SPR kit additionally contains a muscle tissue of 30-month old or younger cows, which is homogenized with the PBS solution. A method for determining the specific age of cow meat comprises: a step of adding a cow meat sample to the PBS solution and homogenizing; a step of touching the homogenized sample to the thin film; and a step of measuring the concentration of p21.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
