PURPOSE: A compound has the skin whitening activity inhibiting tyrosinase, an antioxidant activity, and a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor activity.;CONSTITUTION: A compound or the isomer of the same is presented by the following chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula, the respective R1-R4 are the same or different from each other, and are H, OH, or C1-4 alkoxy, acetoxy, or halogen. X is either N or C-COOH and Y is one among NH2 and C1-4 alkyl or phenyl. The composition for skin whitening or the antioxidant composition for prevention and treatment of oxidation related diseases includes the above compound or the isomer of the same as an active ingredient.
