PURPOSE: A dye-sensitized solar cells using a metal substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the cost of materials by omitting a process for coating a blocking layer. CONSTITUTION: A Ti layer (113) is formed on a metal substrate. A TiO2 layer (114) is formed on the Ti layer. A porous metal oxide semiconductor layer (116) is formed on the TiO2 layer. A dye is adsorbed onto the surface of the porous metal oxide semiconductor layer. The TiO2 layer is formed by a coating or a deposition method.
