A work for removing garlic stem in usual garlic cultivation is one of significantly important processes for harvesting garlic, wherein a case of removing the garlic stem as soon as the garlic stem grows up is capable of harvesting yields of greater than or equal to about 15 to 20% compared with a case of not removing the garlic stem as soon as the garlic stem grows up as known up to now. Thus, an electric rotary cutter type garlic stem removing device comprises: a handle (10) having a grip (11) at one side thereof and being formed with a certain length; a small electric motor (20) being formed at the end of the handle (10); a rotary cutter (30) being fit to the rotary shaft (21) of the electric motor (20) with insertion and being simultaneously actuated with the rotary shaft (21) of the electric motor (20); an on/off switch (40) being connected to the motor (20) with a line and being formed at one side of the grip (11); and a battery (50) supplying power and being formed inside the handle (10) having the grip (11) or formed at an extra position, wherein a garlic stem guide cutting part (110) having a size larger than at least the rotational radius of the rotary cutter (30) and cutting the garlic stem after easily guiding in front of a rotary cutter lower cover plate (100) is formed at the rotary cutter lower cover plate (100) which is formed at the lower side of the rotary cutter (30) coupled to the rotary shaft (21) of the electric motor (20).
