The present invention relates to a marine-vessel propulsion system and a marine-vessel equipped with the same, wherein the marine-vessel propulsion system includes an internal combustion engine, a compressed gas providing mechanism for providing the compressed gas, and a gas blanket generation device which is connected with the compressed gas providing mechanism so as to convey the compressed gas provided by the compressed gas providing mechanism to the gas blanket generation device, the gas blanket generation device is used for generating a gas blanket on the bottom of the marine-vessel by means of the compressed gas, wherein the compressed gas providing mechanism is connected with the internal combustion engine, and the compressed gas providing mechanism is used for improving the pressure of the gas by means of energy of exhaust gas generated by the internal combustion engine so as to generate the compressed gas.
