ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND STEAM BAG FOR COOKING IN THE MICRWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE: An adhesive composition is provided to be applied to a steam bag for microwave cooking by having appropriate strength and enhanced physical properties. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive composition comprises 70-85 parts by weight of maleic anhydride and olefin copolymer, 5-20 parts by weight of chlorinated polyolefin which includes 10-30 wt% of chlorine, 5-20 parts by weight of nitrocellulose resin based on 100 parts by weight of solid resin. The maleic anhydride and olefin copolymer is a three component copolymer of maleic anhydride, 1-butene, and 1- propene. The maleic anhydride and olefin copolymer comprises recurring units originating from maleic anhydride and recurring units originating from olefin with a mole ratio of 2:98-2:100.
