PURPOSE: A system for measuring an inertia moment of a vehicle and an inertia moment measuring method are provided to easily measure the inertia moment of the vehicle with only cranes without separate measurement equipment.;CONSTITUTION: A system (100) for measuring an inertia moment of a vehicle (10) includes a plurality of cranes (110), an elastic towing member (120), a cycle sensor (130), an angle sensor (140), and a calculation module (150). The plurality of cranes lifts the vehicle upwardly. The vehicle is a target object for measuring the center of gravity. The elastic towing member is connected to four edge portions of the uppermost portion of the vehicle and the cranes respectively and supports the vehicle when the vehicle is lifted by the cranes. The cycle sensor measure a cycle of the movement of the vehicle generated by an elastic force of the elastic towing member. The angle sensor measures an angle formed by a virtual axis which is horizontal to a gravity direction and the elastic towing member by the torque applied to the vehicle around an axis horizontal to the gravity direction.
