PURPOSE: An auxiliary transmission device for a 4WD vehicle is provided to lower manufacturing costs, lighten a vehicle, and improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicle by integrating an auxiliary transmission device with a multi-disk clutch and simplifying the structure.;CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary transmission device for a 4WD vehicle comprises a drive gear (2), a pinion gear (3), a pinion shaft (4), a clutch pack (7), a case (5), an actuating motor (8), and a rear flange (6). The input shaft receives power generated from an engine through transmission. The drive gear receives power from the input shaft. The pinion gear is joined to the drive gear at the angle of 90 degrees. The pinion shaft is connected to the pinion gear to deliver rotary power. The clutch pack is installed between the pinion gear and the pinion shaft. The case protects the pinion gear and the clutch pack. The actuating motor is mounted on the case to operate the clutch pack. The rear flange connects the pinion shaft to a propeller shaft.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
