A process for preparing inorganic pigment green from mixed rare earth elements and compounds of molybdenum, comprising the steps of: a) homogenizing the mixed rare earth carbonates and ammonium molybdate; b) calcining in air homogenate obtained in step a); c) cooling and consequent particle size reduction, where mixed rare earth carbonates used in step a) are a mixture of rare earth elements having atomic number ranging from 57 to 66, and having a composition, at least, lanthanum in the range of 43-45 wt. %, Neodymium in the range of 33-35 wt.% Praseodymium in the range 9-10 wt.% Samarium in the range 4-5 wt.% And other rare earth elements is not more than 5 wt.%. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein the temperature of calcination in step b) is in the range 900 ° C-1100 ° C.3.
