FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology, and can be used in treatment and examination of patients with bronchial asthma. For this purpose measurement of VFE1 is carried out. After that, test with isocapnic hyperventilation with cold air (IHCA) is performed. After that decrease of volume of forced exhalation (ΔVFE1) is studied. Final temperature of exhaled air (T°fin) is measured immediately after IHCA. Prediction is performed by means of discriminant equation D=2.73×ΔVFE1(%)+0.39×T°fin. (°C), where D is discriminant function with the boundary value 54.02. If D is less than the boundary value, development of polypous rhinosinusitis in patients with bronchial asthma is predicted. If D equals or is higher than the boundary value, absence of development of polypous rhinosinusitis in patients with bronchial asthma is predicted.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide the most optimal tactics of treating patients with bronchial asthma due to realisation of prediction by functional parameters at the initial stage.;3 tbl, 1 ex
