The pressure relief valve (13) is provided with a low-pressure pump (2), a high pressure pump, a metering unit (12) and a high-pressure accumulator (17). The high-pressure pump has a working chamber (11), which is connected with a metering unit by a suction valve (20) and with the high-pressure accumulator by a check valve (16). An opening pressure of the overflow valve is higher than the sum of opening pressure of the suction valve and the check valve in pump idle condition.
