The auxiliary pump (10) is activated to provide the hydraulic pressure requirement. The hydraulic pressure requirement and hydraulic oil leakage in the hydraulic system are reduced and pressure flow of hydraulic system to main pump is increased based on the pressure of hydraulic system. The increase in pressure flow to the auxiliary pump is determined by system pressure model. The countermeasure for reducing pressure of hydraulic system is introduced, when pressure flow to auxiliary pump is greater than threshold value. An independent claim is included for control device of motor vehicle.
