The brake (2) has a first actuator (32) that is connected with axis (14) of electric motor (8) such that rotational movement of first spindle (26) is converted into translational movement of first nut (38). The second actuator (50) is connected to second nut so that translational movement of second spindle is converted into rotational movement of second nut. A gear (68) of second nut is provided with third spindle (74) such that rotational movement of third spindle is converted into translational movement of third nut (86) connected with brake piston (92).
