The device (22) has a storage container (12) in which a heat storage medium (14) i.e. zinc-aluminum alloy, is accommodated, and pulled off by two tubes (24) through which heat transportation fluid flows. The tubes are connected in pair-wise by elbow joints (26) running outside the storage container. The elbow joints are formed as components separated by the tubes, and made of steel. The tubes are made of ceramic- or glass material such as magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, quartz glass and glassy carbon.
