Method for controlling e.g. hybrid drive motor utilized for providing drive power in hybrid drive train of electrical vehicle, involves determining recuperation degree using model, and adjusting degree according to recuperation
The method involves detecting a current state of a vehicle (10) and current environmental condition using internal and/or external sensor system in the vehicle and/or external communication networks. A future environmental condition is predicted for a predetermined prediction horizon. Recuperation degree is determined based on the current state of the vehicle, the current environmental condition and the future environmental condition using a mathematical model i.e. time-discrete model. The determined recuperation degree is adjusted according to recuperation. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling an electrical machine of a vehicle.
