The arrangement has a windshield, in which a visual field of a driver of a motor vehicle is defined. The arrangement comprises a holder (5), which is attached in an interior in the viewing direction of the driver of the motor vehicle and holder is pivotally coupled with portable device (19). A locking connection is formed between the portable device and the holder in a pivot position of the portable device. The portable device is located at the pivot position outside the visual field of the driver.
