The drive carrier (1) has a motor carrier unit that is provided with a main engine mounting portion (3) for receiving front motor end at driving end. An auxiliary engine mounting portion is provided for receiving a rear motor end. A drive shaft bearing is provided with a bearing seat (6), and opening and closing portion (2a) is formed in side of boundary surface. A support plate is provided for receiving motor carrier unit and drive shaft bearing, and main portion is made of thermoplastic resin material. An independent claim is included for a method for assembling drive unit in drive carrier.
