The device (200) has a partially transparent panel (104) arranged on an interaction apparatus so as to be visible from outside of the apparatus. Light sources (206) i.e. LEDs, emit light beam in direction of the panel. A control unit is configured to change the color of the beam emitted by the light sources. The light sources are located in front of an edge (210) of the panel. The panel is made of plastic material e.g. polycarbonate, or glass. The light sources include elements of different colors connected to a switch. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for controlling signaling device (2) an interaction apparatus (3) a management system for managing a fleet of apparatuses.
