PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a hair washer to wash hair without holding up the back of the head of a person to be shampooed by displacing only a head support member more downward than the back of the head when washing a nape part near a neck part.SOLUTION: A head support device which is attached to a shampoo bawl 1 comprises: a fixed member 21 which is fixed on the inner side of the shampoo bawl 1 at the position approximate to a curved section formed in the shampoo bawl 1 to receive the neck part of a person to be shampooed; a rotation member 22 which is rotatably pivoted to the fixed member; a head support member 22c which is formed at the position apart from the curved section in the horizontal portion of the rotation member; and a stopper mechanism which stops the rotation of the rotation member at the position where the head support member is downwardly displaced with the rotation of the rotation member.
