PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing furfural from a chemically treated lignocellulose ingredient.;SOLUTION: After a lignocellulose ingredient has been chemically treated, the obtained chemically treated ingredient (ingredient suspension) is separated into solid and liquid components by a solid-liquid separator, and after the liquid component separated by the solid-liquid separator has been fed into and heated within a heating apparatus, a furfural-containing vapor phase is separated and retrieved from the heated liquid, whereas the vapor phase is further fed into and treated within a distillation apparatus so as to recover a furfural-containing concentrate liquid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
