PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the labor for development man-hour estimation by automating coding and man-hour estimation of a unit body test in function units in development man-hour estimation for software.;SOLUTION: A display control part 12 reads data on a software development man-hour estimation window out of a storage part 11 and makes a display part 13 displays the data. An input part 14 receives input of indication information including a selected UML file, a basic time, the number of sub-functions, information representing an object coefficient. A man-hour estimation part 15 reads a UML file that a user selects out of the storage part 11 based upon the indication information, extracts an object function for each sequence diagram, and counts sub-functions that the object function calls and objects having interfaces in the object function. The man-hour estimation part 15 substitutes those values in a man-hour estimation expression stored in the storage part 11 to calculate an estimated man-hour for each object function.
