PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset an origin of a rotary motor without returning a mechanism part to the origin accurately when a backup power supply of an encoder is consumed.;SOLUTION: A rotary motor origin resetting device includes: an encoder that detects an absolute rotation angle of a motor shaft and that includes a storage part for counting rotational frequency of the shaft and storing the rotation angle and the rotational frequency of the shaft; a backup power supply that backs up the encoder; and a nonvolatile memory that stores the rotation angle of the shaft detected by the encoder at an origin as an origin offset.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
