PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the shielding structure of a radiation measurement part in a food product radioactivity screening device.;SOLUTION: A food product radioactivity screening device 1 comprises: a conveyance mechanism; a radiation measurement part 3; and a shielding part 4. The conveyance mechanism is configured to convey a test object 9 along a predetermined conveyance path. The radiation measurement part 3 is configured to detect a radiation radiated from a radioactive substance contained in the test object 9. The shielding part 4 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and configured to surround the periphery of the radiation measurement part 3. The shielding part 4 includes: a main shielding part 41; an inner wall part 42; and an outer wall part 43. The main shielding part 41 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and formed of zinc. The inner wall part 42 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and configured to coat the inner peripheral surface of the main shielding part 41, and formed of stainless steel. The outer wall part 43 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, and configured to coat the outer peripheral surface of the main shielding part 41, and formed of iron. The shielding part 4 is structured as above mentioned so that it is possible to simplify the shielding structure of the radiation measurement part 3 and the manufacturing process of the shielding structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
