PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry composition for secondary battery use which is superior in binding force with a current collector or a base material.SOLUTION: A slurry composition comprises: a binding resin; an amino group-containing water-soluble polymer; and a carbodiimide compound. The binding resin is any of 1,3-butadiene, isoprene, 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene, 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene, substituted straight-chain conjugated pentadienes, and substituted and side-chain conjugated hexadienes. The amino group-containing water-soluble polymer includes 1-60 wt% of amino group-containing monomer units. The carbodiimide compound is a poly carbodiimide compound. The slurry composition for secondary battery use forms a binding resin composition for secondary battery positive electrode use when being combined with a positive electrode active material, forms a binding resin composition for secondary battery negative electrode use when being combined with a negative electrode active material and forms a binding resin composition for secondary battery separator porous film use when being combined with non-conductive fine particles.
