PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged tomato-containing beverage easy to drink with strong feeling of fully-ripened sweetness and flavor without feeling of grassy smell, and with smooth and dry texture and to provide an inhibition method of acid taste of the packaged tomato-containing beverage and an improvement method of texture and taste of the packaged tomato-containing beverage.;SOLUTION: A packaged tomato-containing beverage contains 0.7 to 2.2 mg/100 g of plant sterols and a ratio [Ga/Glu] of the content of GABA (GA) to the content of glutamic acid (Glu) in the beverage is 0.30 to 0.50.
