PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new organic substance separation material composed of a porous bulk body.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to: the organic substance separation material composed of the porous bulk body in which gas permeability falls within the range of 5×10-14 to 2×10-11 m2; a method for efficiently separating an organic substance by contacting a gaseous mixture composed of water and the organic substance such as alcohol, with the organic substance separation material composed of the porous bulk body; and an organic substance separation device having the porous bulk body.
