PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium iron phosphate particle for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode material which has a peel strength increased by improvement of a positive-electrode active material.SOLUTION: The lithium iron phosphate particle for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode is arranged by using, as a raw material, an iron particle including no less than 0.5 mass% of oxygen. With the lithium iron phosphate particle, the crushing strength defined by JIS Z 8841 concerning a lithium iron phosphate particle for a lithium ion secondary battery positive electrode material is 10 MPa or less.
