PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a wick vertical moving device of an oil burning appliance having high productivity and keeping operability even in use for a long time.;SOLUTION: This wick vertical moving device includes an operation lever 2 applying a wick vertical shaft 1 performing a wick vertical moving operation as the center of rotation, and a drive plate 4 freely fitted to the wick vertical shaft 1, and including a return spring 3 applying the wick vertical shaft 1 as the center of rotation, the drive plate 4 is provided with a locking section 5 abutting on the operation lever 2, and the operation lever 2 rotates the drive plate 4 through the locking section 5 in a wick moving-up operation. A thin resin sheet 8, the operation lever 2 and a resin spacer 9 of a prescribed thickness are disposed between a base 7 of the wick vertical moving device and the drive plate 4, the drive plate 4 is mounted to the base 7 in a state of holding the sheet 8, the operation lever 2 and the spacer 9 by the base 7 and the drive plate 4, the sheet 8 is positioned on a contact face of the base 7 and the operation lever 2, the spacer 9 is positioned between the operation lever 2 and the drive plate 4, and the friction of the contact faces of the base 7, the operation lever 2 and the drive plate 4 can be suppressed at rotating the wick vertical shaft 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
