PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purified polysaccharide fiber that is produced by using a raw material capable of suppressing carbon disulfide emission and having less environmental load, and can provide both elongation at break and initial elastic modulus when used in a tire; a rubber-cord composite; and a tire that includes the same and achieves an improvement in high-speed durability.SOLUTION: The purified polysaccharide fiber is obtained by contacting a polysaccharide solution obtained by dissolving a polysaccharide raw material in a liquid containing an ion solution with a solidifying liquid and spinning the polysaccharide. An elongation at break at 25°C (EB25) and an initial elastic modulus (IM25) when an elongation is 0.5 to 0.7% satisfy the following formula (1).
