PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking fee calculating device and a parking fee calculating method which calculates a parking fee discounted according to a payment price at a store when a vehicle exits from a parking lot without using a recording medium such as a parking lot ticket.;SOLUTION: An entry data recording unit 232 stores a vehicle number photographed by an entrance camera 11 and recognized by an entry number recognition control unit 15 and an entry time in a storage device 24 while associating them with each other. A commodity price settlement processing unit 235 stores a settled price using an electronic money ID read by an electronic money reading device 215 as shopping amount of commodity purchase transaction data 244. A parking fee calculating unit 237 calculates a parking time from the entry time and exit time of a vehicle number photographed by the exit camera 31 and recognized by an exit number recognition control unit 35, retrieves a parking fee master 242, and calculates a discounted parking fee according to the calculated parking time and the shopping amount associated with the vehicle number recognized by the exit number recognition control unit 35.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
