PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately monitor input power.;SOLUTION: A variable splitter splits input signal light based on a variable ratio. Each PD receives each signal light split by the variable splitter, respectively. An operation unit performs reception processing based on at least one of respective signals received by respective PDs. In addition, an operation unit calculates a total power of respective signals received by respective PDs.
